Ramadan Iftar Event

The Ramadan Iftar marked the very first Chill & Chat session a simple idea that grew into a recurring series because of its impact.

It brought together youth from different communities for an evening of reflection, friendship, and connection, creating a warm space where everyone could relax, share stories, and celebrate the month together.

The strong response to this gathering revealed the need for more spaces where young people can connect freely without pressure, formality, or hierarchy.

What began as a casual iftar evolved into a model for future Chill & Chat sessions: youth-led, inclusive, and focused on building meaningful bonds across communities

"Yes, you are right. This is one of the best days of the year. Thank you, PSU, for making it an outstanding day. I hope and pray that PSU remains successful. As refugees, we usually don't get these types of gatherings or events where we can enjoy without any barriers. This all was possible because of you guys. And I made new friends 🧡"

The Ramadan Iftar event was a meaningful success, not only celebrating the spirit of Ramadan but also strengthening bonds across refugee communities. It reinforced the value of intentional planning, adaptability, and collaboration in building a united and supportive youth network.
